Praise God In The Storm?

I'm writing this post at the direction of The Holy Spirit...

I've been a Computer Consultant for the last 32 years, and a Sales Manager/Computer Consultant for the last 2.  My job can only be described as like working on a pirate ship.  I constantly have to steer the ship (my team) through the storm, and there's always someone trying to throw me under the boat...no stress here...lol...

For the past few months, I've been working on a very large, complex project.  All my hard work finally paid off a few weeks ago when I received a purchase order for the equipment portion of the project.  I should have the Integration services PO shortly.

Now for the fun stuff. My client has been on credit hold since June due to taking 6 months to pay for a project we did in December.  To make matters worse, upper management at my company requires a 50% deposit in order to order the equipment.  My contact at the client told their management team that I ordered the equipment, when in fact, I have not.  To make matters worse, our resources are so overbooked, that getting this done by the client's Sept 1st move date is going to be very difficult.  Delivering this project will make a HUGE difference in me getting a good commission check for Q3. I need to pick up a check by tomorrow, get the equipment RUSH ordered, and hope it gets here in 7-10 days.

Why am I telling you this?  Very simple-it's very difficult to lose track of Jesus in your life when you're busy trying to fight your daily battles.  I needed to learn how to cast all my cares and concerns on Jesus.  I needed to learn that Jesus will never leave me, or forsake me.  He's delivered me through worse situations before, and He can do it again!  What seems impossible in my eyes, is possible with God-He's the God who spoke the universe into existence!  Taking care of my problems are a walk on the beach for God!

I've been praying without ceasing, reading God's Word, and surrendering every aspect of my life to Jesus.  I've made more progress in finishing this deal in the last 2 days than I've made in the last few weeks!  God took me this far, I cannot imaging him not finishing it for me!  PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME!!!!  I'm trusting God to make a way where there seems to be no way!

You may be going through some of life's battles.  You may even be going through life's WARS!  The bottom line is that Jesus is always there for you.  He knows your prayers even before you say them.  He knows exactly what you NEED.  He is your Comforter, your Shelter in the storm, your Deliverer through the trials of life, your Provider in all things, your High Tower when you need protection, and your Peace when you need Him the most!  Turn your eyes upon Jesus!  Amen?

1.    O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!

o   Refrain:
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.

2.    Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
O’er us sin no more hath dominion—
For more than conqu’rors we are!

3.    His Word shall not fail you—He promised;
Believe Him, and all will be well:
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!

Praise You In This Storm....

A Spirit of Fire!!!!

Welcome to the Jesus Freak 3.0 BLOG!!!

After much thought and prayer, I've restarted the Jesus Freak Blog.  The latest version is 3.0.  I've been toying around with some layouts and ideas, but TODAY is the official launch day.

Not sure if The Lord will have me update this every day, or once a week, but I will be listening for The Holy Spirit's guidance and direction for everything that gets posted.  I will also post my Sunday sermon notes after I preach them.

To GOD be all the Glory!
